International Travel Restrictions
On March 1, 2022, Japan reopened its borders to all new foreign business people with visas issued through the Japanese embassy in their home country. General tourist entry remains prohibited. It remains undecided when tourists will again be able to enter Japan but we anticipate that could be as early as Summer 2022.
Nearly 80% of Japan’s population is now fully vaccinated, with booster shots injections starting in December of 2021. Vaccination certificates “passports” are not being required for Japanese citizens for daily routines and activities. Helpful Travel Links
